JFS Singers were delighted to perform at the annual Brent Holocaust Memorial Day on Thursday 26th January.

They sang a moving version of “Sim Shalom” which was most suitable for the nature of this event, and they were honoured to have been asked to perform once again on such a meaningful occasion.

A group of Young Enterprise students went to the Ealing Trade fair last Sunday to sell their products.

As a true reflection that the school is inspiring our students to enrich themselves and seek knowledge beyond the confines of the classroom, a group of Year 13 History students attended a lecture with the well-known historian, Sir Christopher Clarke and posted this image entitled ‘History for Fun’. Our students continue to make us proud!

AJEX have extended their thanks to the many students from JFS who attended the parade to commemorate the fallen Jewish service men and women who gave their lives in conflict in order to preserve our freedom and democracy.

This week in our GiFT ‘Lunch ‘n Do’ club, students met members of the organisation ‘Spread a Smile’. This is a wonderful organisation that arranges for various entertainers to visit children in hospitals such as Great Ormond Street, University College Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. They also organise parties for sick children so they have something to look forward to.
