Year 13 students were delighted to welcome Richard H Bernstein an American lawyer, the current and youngest ever Michigan Supreme Court Justice at age 41. Classified as legally blind since birth, he has gone on to achieve incredible things in his life, which was his message to our students.

New students in Year 7 enjoyed their first day in secondary school, meeting up with old friends and making many new ones!

JFS students have once again achieved excellent GCSE results with almost 50% of all entries being at A*-A grades in this Summer’s results.   A third of students achieved A*/A grades in at least 7 subjects.  Additionally, 52.5% of students achieved the Government’s EBACC measure, more than double the national average of 2014.

Once again, students are celebrating outstanding A level examination results.   Almost 50% of results, a further increase on last year, were A* or A grades whilst almost 80% of grades were A*, A or B.  70 students achieved at least ‘A’ grades in all three A levels examined.

Aside from a close game with Ark Academy JFS easily won all of their group games in their pool against Ark Elvin and Swaminaryan School Group B and went through to the Semi-Finals. In the Semi-Final JFS played against Claremont, where they won 8- ½. This meant the girls were through to the Final against the Swaminaryan School A team.

This was yet another victory and the Year 10 girls were Brent Champions for the second year running. Well done to all!
