In this section of the website you can read about some of the many varied and exciting events that take place at JFS. For a more comprehensive overview, photos and updates please follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

JFS welcomed the Kadi of Jerusalem, Dr Iyad Zahalka. Kadi Zahalka is Head of the Sharia Court in Jerusalem and is an accomplished judge, lecturer, author and activist. He has filled several important positions in the Sharia court system, including that of Director. Kadi Zahalka obtained his L.L.B. from Tel Aviv University, and his M.A. (summa cum laude) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he completed his PhD thesis on the Muslim Minority Jurisprudence Doctrine (Fiqh al Aqalliyyat).

Students at JFS have once again obtained outstanding GCSE results exceeding last year’s achievements.  The most notable feature is that, while national results have fallen, almost 50% of entries secured an A* or A grade - up from 47.3% last year.  The overall pass rate was 99.9%.

JFS is delighted to announce a record 16 students have secured their places for Oxford or Cambridge Universities this year. Among the overwhelming majority of Year 13 students achieving places in first class universities of their choice, are 6 students who will be going to Medical School.

JFS boys won three of the four age groups at the Maccabi Tennis Tournament at Immanuel College this week.

Congratulations to all the participants!

The Years 7-8 Cricket team travelled to Latymer School in Edmonton to compete in the Second Round of the Middlesex County Cup.
