The Years 7-8 Cricket team travelled to Latymer School in Edmonton to compete in the Second Round of the Middlesex County Cup.


Following an inaugural essay writing competition recently, 26 students were selected to visit Cambridge University. This experience for Year 10 is the first step in a new process of guidance, support and information that has been provided by the JFS Careers and Higher Education team. This has been put in place to enable students to plan the next stage of their education.


We have received national recognition for the high attainment of our students in the 2013 GCSE examinations with the award of an SSAT Educational Outcomes Award.

A recent in-depth analysis of official Department for Education data on all state-funded schools in England by SSAT, the national schools’ membership organisation for improvement and collaboration, identified our success.


The annual Spring Concert took place last night with over 80 students performing to a packed audience in the Theatre. Students were represented from all Year Groups and were involved either as soloists or in various ensembles.


Science Week is a much anticipated event at JFS and once again has proven to be a tremendous success.
