Royal College of Surgeons

Twenty JFS students considering studying Medicine were lucky enough to be part of the recent Surgical Skills Workshop at the Royal College of Surgeons.
The Royal College of Surgeons enables surgeons to achieve and maintain the highest
standards of patient care by providing training and professional support throughout their careers.
The students had the opportunity to walk around the Hunterian Museum which was then followed by a ‘hands-on’ workshop on suturing, using prosthetic limbs, and speaking to medical students about their experiences in applying to medical school and their experiences so far in their chosen course.
