JFS celebrated Yom Ha'atzmaut in style. A stirring Shacharit service began the day and was followed by a sumptuous celebratory breakfast. In morning break students had a chance to sample 'Aroma' ice coffees and there was an evident air of festivity. Perhaps the climax of the day came with live music and Israeli dancing during lunch break. Students enjoyed falafel and chips and had the option to buy candyfloss and popcorn, with all proceeds going to charity. Led by JFS Alumnus, Eli Tamir, the crowd was whipped up into a frenzy. As usual it was a fantastic day enjoyed by staff and students alike.
