Bar Mitzvah Programme
Brand new pre-Bar Mitzvah 4-week course for fathers and sons with critical training for the big day.
- Out there in the battlefield - facing and dealing with life's dilemmas
- Prayer - the secret weapon. Does it really work?
- Spiritual Wi-Fi - Understanding the barmitzvah boy's core equipment
- Allies or Enemies - Handling your children through adolescence (for the parents) and ‘handling your adults through adolescence’ (for the kids).

Family Education at JFS
We have developed an exciting new programme of family education opportunities in conjunction with Seed, experts in adult education. The aim of these programmes is to give parents and members of the JFS family the opportunity to engage in Jewish educational experiences together with their children and to experience themselves some of what JFS offers to students.
Rabbi Adam Edwards is the JFS Family Educator and can be contacted about any of the existing programmes or with enquiries about future programmes via email seed@jfs.brent.sch.uk .
We have launched our mothers and daughters Bat Mitzvah preparation programme 'Links' and will shortly run a similar programme for fathers and sons. A Hebrew reading course for parents has proven very successful as was the first Poland visit for parents. The next parents visit to Poland will take place in February 2014.
