The JFS PTA is a community group engaged in supporting the School. It organises fund raising and social events, enabling parents to be actively involved in the JFS community. Some of these activities create an opportunity for parents to provide additional resources for the School. We help in a variety of ways - from a grand piano to a gazebo to free oranges on sports day. Members of the PTA help the School and all parents by providing refreshments and additional security at events including:
- Parents' Open Evenings
- School concerts and plays
- Sports Days (Y7-9)
- New Parents' Evenings
Any parent wishing to offer help in this way is requested to contact the PTA secretary via email at HonSec@jfs-pta.co.uk

A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY
The next fund raising event of the PTA will be from 11 am to 4 pm on 8 November, when there will be a Winter and Simcha Fair.
We call upon as many parents as possible to join the PTA or participate in some way to help occasionally. Donating time is a valuable gift, especially these days when there are so many demands upon us. Even a few hours a month helping us when required would be so useful. We would like to establish a talent register. Anyone with a particular talent could make such a difference to a project. A parent at home who has secretarial skills or even a lawyer, graphic artist, AV engineer, journalist or anyone with particular skills that, at some time, we could call upon. We must not forget the students themselves who may also be willing to donate time and talent, as long as it does not interfere with their studies. For anyone who would like to help, but simply cannot spare their time or talent, then, there is always Tzedakah!
