Applications to JFS Sixth Form Centre
Applicants who are able to submit a completed Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP) with their application, will be given priority above those who do not submit a CRP. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to download and print off the CRP. You may begin completing your CRP now and the application process will open in November 2013 for September 2014 entry.
Current JFS Students, wishing to transfer to the Sixth Form in September 2014, will not be required to complete a CRP or follow the above procedure. Details of the application process for Internal Applicants were explained at the Year 11 into Year 12 Meeting, in November 2013. For further information about internal transitition to the Sixth Form, please contact the Director of Studies or Year Manager for Year 11.
If you have any further enquiries regarding Sixth Form Entry for 2013, please contact our Sixth Form Admissions Officer on: 020 8206 3100 and select option 2 and then option 2 again on the switchboard voice mail options.
Minimum GCSE Qualifications for the JFS Sixth Form
A Level Subjects
Six passes at Grade B or above are normally required for a 4 ‘AS’ Level programme. A three ‘AS’ level programme is possible on fewer than six grade Bs. Normally, candidates must have at least a grade B in the specific subjects they wish to study (or in related subjects if the A level subject is new). Specific course requirements are outlined with the details of all courses we offer in the course booklet which can be downloaded below. Students who have not achieved our minimum qualifications will only be admitted to the Sixth Form if we believe they will be able to cope successfully with a course/subject programme.
CACHE COURSE
Five passes at C or above including Child Development for the CACHE course.
