Applications for September 2015

The deadline for applications to transfer to the JFS Sixth Form for September 2015 has now closed. You may still apply and your application will be considered as a late application. 

Applicants who are able to submit a completed Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP) with their application, will be given priority above those who do not submit a CRP.

Applications to the JFS Sixth Form Centre for September 2016

The application process for students currently in Year 10, wishing to transfer to the JFS Sixth Form in September 2016, will open next term. Potential applicants may already begin to complete the Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP). 

Applicants who are able to submit a completed Certificate of Religious Practice (CRP) with their application, will be given priority above those who do not submit a CRP. Please scroll to the bottom of the page to download and print off the CRP.

All applicants must also submit a JFS Supplementary Information Form (SIF). The SIF, along with the Application Pack will be available next term. 

Current JFS Students, wishing to transfer to the Sixth Form in September 2016, will not be required to complete a CRP or follow the above procedure.  For further information about internal transition to the Sixth Form, please contact the current Director of Studies or Year Manager for Year 10.

Minimum GCSE Qualifications for the JFS Sixth Form

'A' Level Subjects

Six passes at Grade B or above are normally required for a 4 ‘AS’ Level programme. Normally, candidates must have at least a grade B in the specific subjects they wish to study (or in related subjects if the 'A' Level subject is new). Specific course requirements are outlined with the details of all courses we offer in the course booklet which can be downloaded below. Students who have not achieved our minimum qualifications will only be admitted to the Sixth Form if we believe they will be able to cope successfully with a course/subject programme.

CACHE COURSE

Five passes at C or above including Child Development for the CACHE course.

BTEC DIPLOMA IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

Four to five GCSEs Grade C or above, which should include English and Maths.
