JFS Admission Appeals

Sixth Form Appeals:
Sixth form appeals will not be held before confirmation of examination results on which the offer of a place depends. They will be heard within 30 school days of the date of confirmation of the examination results.

In Year Admissions:
The Admissions Committee meets at regular intervals throughout the year to consider applications. If your application is unsuccessful you have a right to appeal.  You will be given at least 20 school days from the date of notification that your application was unsuccessful to prepare and lodge your written appeal.  You will be given at least 10 school days’ notice of your appeal hearing.  The appeal will be held within 30 school days of the deadline date given to prepare  and lodge your appeal.

Your appeal together with any supporting paperwork must be submitted in writing to Mrs D Mousley, Clerk to the Admission Appeals Panel c/o JFS, The Mall, Kenton, HA3  9TE.
 

Students generally transfer to JFS into Year 7 or Year 12

  • In-year applications can be made for Years 8-11 but all Year Groups are currently full and have waiting lists.
