Jewish Informal Education (JiEP)

The Jewish Informal Education Programme (JiEP) forms an integral part of Jewish Education at JFS. It enables students to explore the richness of Judaism, Jewish life and Israel by way of practical experience beyond the classroom. We aim to create exciting, informative, positive Jewish experiences highlighting key points in the Jewish calendar, providing opportunities for prayer, for social action, for volunteering and for engagement with the wider Jewish community. At JFS, we aim for our students to be proud and knowledgeable about Jewish culture, history, identity and community, with a love of the State of Israel.

Activities include:

  • Daily minyan

  • JFS Beit Midrash

  • Chagim celebrations
