Support the JFS Difference

The case for support

JFS is a state school, but the JFS experience is built by a community.

Government funding provides a foundation. It does not fully fund the breadth of Jewish life, pastoral care, academic ambition, innovation and opportunity that families recognise as the JFS difference. When you support JFS, you are not simply maintaining a school. You are investing in the next generation of Jewish thinkers, professionals, leaders, volunteers, parents and community builders.

Why it matters

A school with a communal responsibility.

JFS carries almost three centuries of history, but the work is immediate: shaping the confidence, identity and future of more than 2,000 young people today.

Shared future

Every gift helps sustain the school our community depends on.

What your gift protects

The extra that becomes essential.

The JFS difference is felt in the classroom, in Jewish life, in pastoral care, in opportunities beyond the timetable and in the confidence students carry into the world.

That “more” is not a luxury. It is how JFS helps young people grow with ambition, belonging and purpose.

Where support goes

Six priorities. One JFS.

A clear gift story helps donors see what they are protecting: the things that make JFS unmistakably JFS.

Teaching & academic excellence

Outstanding provision, expert teaching, professional development and the ambition that gives students the confidence to aim high.

Jewish life & identity

Jewish learning, values, celebration, Israel education and informal experiences that help students understand who they are.

Pastoral care & wellbeing

Mental health provision, mentoring, inclusion and trusted support so students are known, noticed and helped to thrive.

Innovation & STEM

Modern learning, technology, science, computing and partnerships that prepare students for the world they will enter.

Opportunity beyond the classroom

Clubs, trips, leadership, enrichment and experiences that broaden horizons and build lifelong confidence.

Community & continuity

JFS as a cornerstone of British Jewish life, carried forward M’dor L’dor — from generation to generation.
